Management Concepts is offering a free course on Grants and Cooperative agreements to those wishing to test the course and provide feedback. NGP does not endorse this provider or any other but is passing this information along. Those with an interest should contact Management Concepts directly.
Management Concepts is pilot testing Introduction to Grants and Cooperative Agreements for Federal Personnel ONLINE.
In exchange for a tuition-free course, we ask that all pilot testers commit to completing weekly evaluation forms and provide additional feedback by participating in a post course focus group (to be conducted via teleconference). Your feedback will be vitally important to our efforts to ensure that our online courses meet our clients’ expectations before public launch.
The pilot course will begin on 3 October 2008 and last for nine weeks, including the final exam. Please note that the week of Thanksgiving will be a holiday week, with no assignments due. The pilot will conclude at 11:59 pm, 14 December 2008. The course is asynchronous, meaning you can complete each week’s assignments on your own schedule, but you will be expected to complete the assignments by the designated weekly due dates. The course will be facilitated by an experienced Management Concepts instructor.

In a few weeks, we will send all pilot testers an email with login information and some simple precourse assignments to help you get familiar with the online course platform. Information on system requirements is located at the end of this email.
Please send an email to hreiss@managementconcepts.com by Friday, September 12, to confirm interest in participating in this pilot. Because this course is designed for federal personnel, participation in the pilot is limited to current and former federal employees and contractors performing grants functions for the federal government. Please note that space in the pilot is limited, so we may not be able to accommodate everyone who volunteers.
