We are seeking your input on a project to review principles used by the various levels of government in sharing the cost of carrying out more than $500 billion in annual federal awards. We co-chair a work group established by the Association of Government Accountants <http://www.agacgfm.org/intergovernmental/index.aspx> in partnership with OMB. By responding to the work group's attached survey, you will
have to the opportunity to shape a high-level review of the federal cost reimbursement process. The work group
<http://www.agacgfm.org/intergovernmental/group_A87.aspx> is using the survey to compile the raw data needed to identify key issues, verify purported problems and develop potential solutions.
Our work group is tasked with determining whether the requirements of 2 CFR, Part 225, Cost Principles for State, Local and Tribal Governments (OMB Circular A-87) are clear, logical, equitable and consistently applied across federal agencies and geographic regions. Data collected in this survey will NOT be used for grantee monitoring, enforcement, or any other purpose not directly related to the work group's mission and the identity of those completing the survey will be held in the strictest confidence.
The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. Click here to take the survey --
